Life Teaches Us

Life teaches us
what we need to know if
we're willing to look and listen.
The problem with sermons, whether
from preachers, friends, or strangers
is that they are too on the nose.
It's not like we can avoid life.
Living leads to suffering &
that is the only teacher 

worth listening to.
