Conditional love is a peculiar thing.
There is no argument there should
be reasonable expectations, but it
is the controlling aspects that are
troublesome and then there is the
sad reality that these conditions
seem to be so rarely met without
sacrificing a needed sense of self.
And so, you see, there is no love.
